Tune in to RealMix Radio on 6005 kHz shortwave or 1485 kHz medium wave (AM).
For 6005 kHz, use a radio with shortwave coverage, usually labelled SW or KW. For 1485 kHz, select the MW or AM band. If your receiver offers a choice of reception modes, select AM for either frequency.
For clearer reception, keep your radio away from computers, chargers and other electronic devices that may cause interference. Try listening near a window or outdoors. On shortwave, extend the telescopic antenna; a suitable external antenna may also improve reception. On medium wave, try rotating the radio to find the clearest signal.
Reception varies with your location, the time of day and radio conditions. If you don’t have a suitable radio, you can listen through the online remote receivers linked below.
